Right of withdrawal - Directive 2011/83/EU

Pursuant to Legislative Decree 21 February 2014, no. 21 (implementation of Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers residing in Europe have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without having to provide any reason.

Withdrawal Period

The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which the consumer or a third party designated by them (other than the carrier) acquires physical possession of the goods.

How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform us of their decision to withdraw from this contract through an explicit statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email) to:

Ardeo Art by Alessandro Dibitonto
Email: info@ardeoart.it
Website: ardeoart.it

For this purpose, the consumer may use the standard withdrawal form provided below, but it is not mandatory.

To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for the consumer to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Effects of Withdrawal

In the event of withdrawal from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from the consumer, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from the consumer's choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of the decision to withdraw from this contract.

This reimbursement will be carried out using the same means of payment as the consumer used for the initial transaction, unless the consumer has expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, the consumer will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or the consumer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Return of Goods

The consumer must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the date on which they communicate their withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if the consumer sends back the goods before the expiry of the 14-day period.

The direct cost of returning the goods will be borne by the consumer.

The consumer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized;
  • original artworks and unique pieces made to order.
